It is now my day to film for my footage. Might I say, it was a lot of work to pixilize me.
I was sweating underneath the hot lights, it was hard to stay in one place, it was hard to not laugh, it was hard wearing a fur coat underneath the lights of the Sahara desert, it was hard having to not use the restroom but having to hold it for the sake of a shot...But it was worth it! I had fun because I know what actors/actress, and the CGI department of movies have to go through in order to get their masterpieces completed.
For this week's experimental animation research I found another experimental animation that I found on the same Vimeo page that I found Dante's animation in my previous post. This piece is by Mathieu Labaye and I thought that it was important to choose an animation that has a purpose/ meaning behind it. He dedicated it to his father that passed away that suffered from multiple sclerosis.
I chose this piece not only because of the dedication to his father but the time and disciplined it took to complete a 9 minute video.
